The Youth in Mission Congress is over, suitcases are being unpacked. Everybody is happy about being back in his/her bed and daily routine takes over again. As is the case after every event, the crucial question is: What remains? Because what remains, never becomes a thing of the past.

They ask for my YIM- wristband, hand me my lunch, help me to sing actual melodies during church service, provide fresh toilet paper and clean restrooms, get rid of my pear left- overs, gave me great advice when I had just arrived to the congress, and do a lot more wonderful things to keep this congress going……

The More Helpers, the Better the Outcome

We Need Your Support

Our last YIM- committee meeting before the 9th Youth in Mission Congress is ending. We are leaving with updated to-do- lists, checklists, don’t-dare-to-forget-lists, with instructions for our co-workers. Yet, the keys for the school still need to be insured, the toilet paper needs to be ordered, the gifts for our co-workers need to get wrapped. The congress booklet is still in the making and needs to be translated once it’s finished. One of our guitar players won’t be able to make it to the congress, so a new one has to be found in time.

Stimmen zum Kongress

Seit Dienstag haben wir uns ein bisschen unter euch umgehört, welche positiven Eindrücke ihr in den vergangenen Kongresstagen in Mannheim gesammelt habt. Hier ein paar Stimmen, die unsere Blogeinträge für den diesjährigen Youth in Mission Congress endgültig abschließen sollen, bevor wir euch dann ab Mitte Mai mit neuen Informationen über Planungen zum Kongress 2015 informieren. Es lohnt sich also, immer wieder auf vorbeizuschauen und sich auf den aktuellen Stand der Dinge zu bringen.

In Kürze wird alle Teilnehmer des diesjährigen Kongresses ein Newsletter mit den Informationen über den Missionsbericht für ihre Gemeinden, sowie mit der Aufforderung, sich am Feedback zum Kongress zu beteiligen, erreichen. Beides ist uns besonders wichtig und wir freuen uns über entsprechende Reaktionen und Rückmeldungen.
